GreenFin Arena 2026

RPIA and the Romanian Wind Energy Association (RWEA), in partnership with BCR, organized the fifth edition of GreenFin Arena, bringing together representatives from public authorities, financial institutions, investors, developers, and the renewable energy industry to discuss the future of green finance in Romania.
The workshop focused on the evolving financing landscape for renewable energy projects, covering topics such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Contracts for Difference (CfDs), the Modernisation Fund, energy storage, and new investment mechanisms supporting the next generation of solar and wind projects. Participants also explored the role of private capital, risk-sharing instruments, and regulatory developments in enabling long-term market growth.
GreenFin Arena continues to provide a platform for dialogue between policymakers, financiers, and industry stakeholders, supporting the development of a stable and competitive investment environment for Romania’s renewable energy sector.
