RPIA and RWEA Prepare New Study on Romania’s Renewable Energy Roadmap to 2045
RPIA and the Romanian Wind Energy Association (RWEA), in partnership with Baringa, are currently developing “Renewable Energy in Romania: Roadmap to 2045”, a comprehensive study exploring the long-term evolution of Romania’s renewable energy sector and the policies needed to support its continued growth.
The study will provide an analysis of the future development of Romania’s energy system, assessing the role of renewable energy, storage, grid infrastructure, and other enabling technologies in achieving the country’s climate and energy objectives.
As part of the development process, RPIA and RWEA recently invited industry partners to review the preliminary findings and share their feedback. Their input will help ensure that the final study reflects both current market realities and the opportunities ahead for Romania’s renewable energy sector.
The study is currently in its final stages and will be officially launched in the coming months.
